Our Story
The Tiki Table wasn't created as a business idea. It started because we spent so much time at the sandbar and wanted a better way to enjoy it. Between preparing lunch, setting down drinks, and trying to find relief from the Florida sun, we realized that we needed to change the way we sandbar, so Shane did what he does best—he built one.
The original Tiki Table featured a built-in umbrella mount, creating a shaded gathering place where our friends and family could enjoy food, drinks, and conversation while spending the day on the water.
Almost every time we anchored at a sandbar, several boaters would ask, "Where did you get that table?" After hearing that question for nearly two years, we realized we had created something other boaters wanted too. That's when we began building Tiki Tables, so fellow boating enthusiasts could spend their days at the sandbar in comfort.
In the beginning, every table was built completely by hand using basic hand tools on two folding tables. As demand grew, Shane designed and built a dedicated Multi-Functional Table (MFT) to improve production and consistency. Before long, demand outpaced production again, leading us to add CNC technology for precision-cut tabletops and, later, laser engraving so customers could personalize their tables with boat names, logos, and custom designs. While our process has evolved, one thing hasn't changed, every Tiki Table is still hand assembled, one at a time.
Because each table is built, customized, assembled, and inspected by hand, our current production time averages 10-14 business days. We believe that's what makes every Tiki Table unique. It's not something you'll find sitting on a shelf at a big-box store—it's handcrafted specifically for you.
Fast forward another year, and Shane thought the table was missing something, so he created stools to go around the tables. The stools turned out to be the perfect finishing touch to Shane's creation, giving families and friends a comfortable place to gather, relax, and enjoy their time around the Tiki Table.
Today, our Tiki Tables can be found at sandbars, lakes, rivers, and coastal destinations around the world. What started as a simple solution for our own boating adventures has grown into something we never imagined.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for supporting our small business and helping us share the Tiki Table with boating families across the globe. Your support has allowed us to turn a simple idea into a product enjoyed by customers around the world, and for that we are incredibly grateful.
We look forward to building one for you.
