Return, Warranty & Liability Policy

Returns

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify:

  • Item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

  • Item must be returned in original packaging

  • Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

Returns that do not meet these requirements may be refused.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method only after inspection and approval.


Return Procedures

  1. Contact us at shane@soflomarineworks.com within 30 days of delivery.

  2. Provide your full name and address as well as your original order number and reason for return.

  3. Wait for return authorization and instructions before shipping.

  4. Ship the product back using a trackable carrier.

Unauthorized returns may be refused or returned to sender at customer expense.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.


Defective Products

If a defect in materials or workmanship is found within the warranty period, the product will be repaired or replaced at our sole discretion.

If a defect is confirmed:

  • We will cover shipping back to the customer.

  • Return shipping costs will be reimbursed with valid proof of payment.

If no defect is found, customer is responsible for all shipping costs.


One-Year Limited Warranty

All products are covered by a One (1) Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use only.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear

  • Improper installation

  • Misuse, abuse, neglect, or modification

  • Damage caused by accident, impact, corrosion, weather exposure, or improper maintenance

We reserve the right to deny any claim that does not meet these terms.


Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited strictly to the purchase price of the product.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

  • We are not responsible for labor costs, installation costs, removal costs, downtime, loss of use, loss of profits, or damage to vessels or other property.

  • Customer assumes all responsibility for proper installation and use.

Use of our products signifies acceptance of these terms.
